An unofficial information reaching us has it that the troubled national leader of the All Progressives Congress APC, Chief Bola Ahmed Tinubu, may be calling it quit from the party.
The widely reported rift between Tinubu and the party chairman Odigie Oyegun is far from being settled as the duo are yet to make peace with each other.
President Muhammadu Buhari has been accused of not showing any interest in intervening in the crisis tearing the party apart.
There were reports that the troubled party leader had recently withdrew financial support to the running of the party. The Southwest APC leaders have only recently declared their support for Tinubu.
This developments are evident signs that the crisis in the APC has taken a new dimension. The shunning of the recent Ondo rally by Tinubu is also a sign that all is still not well.
In addition, there are also reports of protest in support of Tinubu in the Southwest States including Lagos. The hashtag #IStandWithTinubu is also being used by the supporters to show their support for the party's national leader.
