Despite Recession, Fayose is working and is winning the hearts of Ekiti people - Adelusi

Ekiti State Governor Ayodele Fayose has assured quality of job being done on ongoing capital projects in the state and would be delivered as scheduled.

Fayose, who made the promise through his spokesman, Mr Idowu Adelusi, in Ado-Ekiti, said the new Governor's Office, the new Ojaba Market, the flyover bridge, the new High Court Complex and others being executed across the state would be world-class when completed.

"Governor Ayodele Fayose is a man of high taste and does not like doing things in half measures. During his first term in office, the edifices he put up were of high standard and the people can attest to that. The Governor's Office, Lady Jibowu Hall, Bishop Adetiloye Hall, Trade Fair Complex and roads in many parts of the state are testimonies to this fact.

"Since he came on board again, he has put up a lot of other things which people say are world class. Also, he is not one who does not count the cost before embarking on anything. Despite the economic recession in the country, he has been managing the state's resources prudenly and that is why he is able to embark on a lot of projects in the state. All projects have delivery time and none would be abandoned.

"The sources to finance the projects are always secured and assured before he starts them. The governor's antagonists are only afraid because they know that the governor has planted himself in the hearts of Ekiti people by his achievements and giving their welfare top priority," he stated.

Adelusi urged the people of Ekiti to continue their support for the Fayose administration, saying the state was already seeing the gains of the government as shown by the giant strides recorded in many sector, especially education where the state ranked first in the federation in this year's NECO examinations.

"We improved on our ranking in WAEC too. We came from 35th to 11th position and we are still moving higher. Roads and infrastructure are not left out and the administration won't rest on its oars," he assured
