Buhari for UK on 10-day vacation, Osinbajo to take over as acting President

President Muhammadu Buhari will begin a 10-day vacation to the United Kingdom on Monday.

Femi Adesina, Special adviser to the president on Media and publicity, confirmed this in a statement issued on Sunday.

This is coming barely three days after news cropped up that the president was seriously ill.
The presidency, however, insisted that Buhari was hale and hearty.

With this, Vice President, Yemi Osinbajo would step in as the Acting President within the period of the President’s absence.
