Discussions on 2019 elections are distractive and unhelpful to all office holders, Sokoto State Governor Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, said yesterday.
“By the time you raise issues about 2019 in 2017, you are distracting the entire polity. Discuss 2019 when the election season is upon us; but for now, let us discuss governance issues,” he stressed.
The governor, who stated this at a parley with journalists in Sokoto, said elective office holders needed to discuss more about governance.
“We should not be disengaged from governance mood to politics mood, “he also said.
Tambuwal reiterated commitment towards good governance in the state.
