Shehu Sani, the Senator representing Kaduna Central Senatorial District, on his official twitter handle accused Northern political elites of keeping silent over killings and kidnappings going on in the region.
The Senator said their silence could be either out of fear of being accused of opposing the APC government or because it is the poor that are dying.
His words, "Northern political elites are silent on the frequent killings and kidnappings in the north out of any of these three reasons;FEAR not to be seen opposing the Government;BELIEF that the President is doing his best;INDIFFERENCE because it’s the poor that are dying.
