Former governor of Jigawa State, Sule Lamido, has warned politician against politics of blackmail and hatred, saying it does not augur well for the existing democracy and the country at large.
He further dismissed speculations that the recent outburst of the former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, on President Buhari’s administration was working for the opposition People Democratic Party, PDP.
Lamido spoke while fielding questions from newsmen in his Bamaina, Birninkudu Local Government Area country home in Jigawa State.
“Atiku is entitled to his opinion like any other Nigerian,” he said.
The PDP presidential hopeful expressed concern about how some people, especially politicians, were accusing others with different political ideology, interest or opinion.
Lamido stated further that APC demonstrated that the party cannot rule the country, saying “there is no way Nigerians can be convinced again on falsehood, as in the past, to vote APC for second term in office because APC doesn’t know administration at all.”
