Former President of Nigeria, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has lamented for the opposition Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), over its choice of former Borno State governor, Ali Modu Sheriff as its national chairman.
The former president in a series of tweets, on a twitter handle purportedly belonging to him, said that he expected nothing less of the opposition party to make Sheriff who was accused of having created Boko Haram sect its national chairman.
He said, "I don’t expect anything better than Ali Modu Sheriff as PDP Nat. Chairman not when Ayo Fayose & Olisa Metuh are the microphone of the party."
